Privacy policy
Effective date and last updated: October 24, 2026
Line Dance Tonight is a free calendar and directory of line dance events, run by House of CINO LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
Information you give us. A successful submission through the connected forms can store the information you supply. Weekly-email sending has not started.
- Weekly email signup: your email address and your separate, explicit consent to receive the weekly line dance list and occasional news about Line Dance Tonight.
- Event submissions: your name and email address so we can follow up, plus the event details you share, such as the event name, host, dates, times, venue, price and links. The current form has no flyer or image upload control. Your email is kept private and never shown on a listing.
- Contact messages: your name, email address and message, so we can reply.
- Report, remove or fix requests: the type of request, the page link, your name, your email and any note, so we can act on the request and reply.
- Sponsor inquiries: your contact details, any optional organization or link, and your inquiry, so we can reply.
Analytics and tracking. Line Dance Tonight does not use analytics or tracking tools right now. Like most websites, our website host may keep basic technical logs, such as browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. Our website host, Lovable, may count visits and page views on its own servers to show us basic traffic numbers. These counts are not tied to your name, and we do not use them for advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
Cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The site saves your light or dark mode choice in your own browser so it stays in place between visits. The weekly-email pop-up is disabled. You can clear the saved theme choice in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Maps. Our map shows map images from OpenStreetMap. To load them, your browser connects to OpenStreetMap's servers, which receive basic technical information such as your IP address. OpenStreetMap's own privacy policy applies to that.
How we use it
- To send the weekly email you signed up for
- To review, edit and list the events people submit
- To fix listings people tell us are wrong
- To answer your messages
- To improve the site and understand what people are looking for
- To keep the site secure and prevent misuse
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' advertising.
Who we share it with
Event details you submit, such as the event name, host, time, place, price and links, may be shown publicly as part of a listing. Your email address is not.
We share information only with service providers that help us run Line Dance Tonight, such as our website host and our email and form platforms. They may use it only to provide services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or House of CINO LLC.
The weekly email
You can sign up using the connected weekly email signup form. Weekly-email sending has not started. We will use your email address only to send the weekly list of line dance events and occasional news about Line Dance Tonight, with your separate, explicit signup consent. Every email will include an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe any time.
Links to other sites
Listings link to hosts' websites, ticket pages and social media. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for how they handle your information.
Children
Line Dance Tonight is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has given us personal information, email info@houseofcino.com and we will delete it.
Keeping and protecting your information
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or until you ask us to delete it. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website can promise perfect security.
Your choices
Hosts and businesses can ask us to remove or correct a listing about them on the Remove or fix my listing page. We honor removal requests.
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you, or stop emailing you. Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, or other states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights, and we'll honor those requests. Email info@houseofcino.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be noted on the site.
